Staff Reports
The following cases recently were heard by Judge P. Randall Knece in Pickaway County Common Pleas Court:
– Gary T. Bigham III, 27, of Sisk Road, Circleville, pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property. He was sentenced to 12 months in state prison at Orient.
– Patrick T. Bryant III, 27, of Columbus, pleaded guilty to non-support of dependents. He will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.
– Gail L. Compston, 64, of New Lexington, pleaded not guilty to operation of an illegal casino. A pretrial hearing is set for Sept. 18.
– Robert P. Irvin, 31, of Columbus, pleaded guilty to possession of heroin and aggravated possession of drugs. He will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.
– Chao Malik El Hajiah Jolly, 23, of Columbus, pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property. He will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.
– Timothy D. McFarland, 36, of East High Street, Circleville, pleaded not guilty but was found guilty of a violation of community control. He was sentenced to 15 months in state prison at Orient.
– Tina M. Owens, 44, of Park Drive, Orient, pleaded guilty to theft of unemployment benefits. She was sentenced to three years of intervention.
– Andrew E. Swift, 45, of Ruth Avenue, Circleville, pleaded guilty to engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity and trafficking in cocaine. He was sentenced to a mandatory 11 years in state prison at Orient and a six-month driver’s license suspension.
