Jon Damon Dill, 49, of Columbus, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015, at Grant Medical Center as the result of a motorcycle accident.
He was born on June 2, 1966, in Columbus, to the late Frank Eugene Dill and Rosalita A. (Jordan), who survives.
Jon was an electrician for Romanoff Electric in Columbus, was a 1984 graduate of Teays Valley High School in Ashville and had attended Otterbein College.
He is survived by his son, Matthew Aaron Dill of Zanesville; and daughter, Kayleigh Nicole Dill of Columbus; mother, Rosalita A. Dill of Linder, Texas; sister, Wendy Dill of Piketon; niece, Jacki (Zach) Bivens of Rushville, Indiana; nephew, Jeremy (Ashley) Fritz of Piketon; three great-nephews; and numerous cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, until the time of a memorial service at 5 p.m. in the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St., Ashville, with Jimmy Gregg officiating. Cremation will take place.
The family request in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home for expenses.
