CIRCLEVILLE – The woman accused in an alleged murder-for-hire plot waived her preliminary hearing Wednesday in Circleville Municipal Court, and her case now will head to the Pickaway County Grand Jury.
Tara J. Lambert, 32, of Circleville, is charged with conspiracy to commit murder after reportedly paying an undercover Franklin County deputy to kill an unnamed Scioto County woman.
She is being held on $500,000 bond in the Pickaway County Jail and is represented by attorney James Kingsley.
Lambert was arrested outside of Walmart on July 28 after she allegedly met with the undercover deputy and gave him money to commit the crime, along with a photo of the intended victim.
The Pickaway County Grand Jury meets the first Friday of each month, but it is unclear when her case will be presented.
