February 12

– A deputy and the canine unit Turpin assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol with a drug check on a vehicle on U.S. Route 23 near mile post 16.

– A resident in the 3000 block of Orr Road reported vehicle damage, but she was not sure where it occurred.

– A deputy performed a well-being check in the 10000 block of Kingston Whisler Road, Kingston. The subject checked OK.

February 13

– A deputy responded to a barn fire in the 20000 block of Ringgold Southern Road.

– A deputy responded to a house fire in the 26000 block of Armstrong Road.

– A deputy performed a well-being check on a subject in the 16000 block of Whiteside Road, Mt. Sterling. The subject was located and transported to the hospital.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 13000 block of McKinley Road, Orient.

February 14

– A deputy assisted the Circleville Police Department in the 40 block of McCullough Avenue, Circleville, where Nathan Groves was arrested on a warrant. Children’s Services was also called in to look at the living conditions.

– A deputy responded to the 17000 block of Zig Zag Drive on a complaint over property. The deputy advised it was a civil matter.

– A deputy responded to the 24000 block of U.S. Route 23 on a juvenile call.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 5000 block of state Route 138. No charges were filed.

– A deputy responded to a custody issue in the 27000 block of Tarlton Adelphi Road, Laurelville.

– A deputy responded to a chimney fire in the 10000 block of Kingston Whisler Road, Kingston. No damage was reported.

– A resident in the 16000 block of Commercial Point Road reported an open barn door. The scene checked OK.

– A deputy responded to a complaint of loud music in the 200 block of Tarlton Road. No one would come to the door at the residence.

February 15

– A deputy was dispatched to Berger Hospital on reports of injuries from an assault in the 19000 block of Florence Chapel Pike.

– Deputies responded to reports of four mailboxes that were set on fire in the 26000 block of Moccasin Road, Laurelville. A report was taken on criminal damaging.

– A caller reported someone took her purse from the cart while she was shopping at Walmart on South Court Street.

– A deputy responded to reports of an assault in the 11000 block of U.S. Route 62 resulting from a dispute between several people regarding picking up children and getting their clothes.

– A resident in the 4000 block of Duvall Road, Ashville, reported her ex-boyfriend threw a cup of pop at her vehicle when she drove by him. A report was taken on criminal mischief.

– A resident in the 7000 block of Snyder Road, Orient, reported her debit card and cash were stolen from her purse. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 9000 block of Shepherd Road, Lockbourne, reported she allowed a neighbor to use her vehicle and he didn’t bring it back. A report was taken on unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and the vehicle was returned later that night.

– A deputy responded to a fire in the 16000 block of Cromley Road, Ashville, that appeared to start in the garage area.

– A deputy responded to a child custody complaint in the 9000 block of Rhode Island Way, Orient.

– A deputy responded to a fire in the 26000 block of Armstrong Road that began when the resident was trying to thaw out pipes and started a fire.

– A resident in the 9000 block of Shepherd Road, Lockbourne, reported a problem with her daughter and an ex-boyfriend.

February 16

– A resident in the 5000 block of Boucher Drive, Orient, reported that her juvenile son had run away. He was entered as missing.

– A resident in the 13000 block of Era Road, Mt. Sterling, reported an unknown subject entered his residence and took a gun. A report was taken on burglary and theft.

– A resident in the 28000 block of McCrady Road, Circleville, reported gates at the residence were not secured. The scene checked OK.

– A resident in the 3000 block of state Route 56 West reported finding a box of property that did not belong to him. A report was taken on found property.

February 17

– Dustin A. Fausnaugh Jr., 25, of Circleville, was arrested for theft at Walmart.

– Jasin J. Belair, 44, of Cincinnati, was arrested for disorderly conduct after he was discovered passed out in the 11000 block of state Route 56 West, Mt. Sterling.

– A deputy responded to the 10000 block of U.S. Route 62, Orient, regarding a neighbor dispute.

– A deputy responded to the 5000 block of state Route 138 on a domestic dispute. No charges were filed.

– A resident in the 9000 block of Southern Street, Orient, reported a suspect kept coming to the residence after being told not to. A report was taken.

– A resident in the 200 block of North Water Street, Williamsport, reported receiving harassing messages on Facebook. A report was taken.

– Candy Robinson, 43, of Ashville, advised she lost control of her vehicle in the snow on U.S. Route 23 and went into an embankment. Subjects were treated for injuries.

– Jessica Rosas, 30, of Circleville, was cited for driving under suspension after she lost control of her vehicle and struck a fence on state Route 316. Subject were treated for injuries.

– James Sharp, 21, of Ashville, advised he lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree on Walnut Creek Pike. No injuries were reported.

– Mark Bauman, 54, of Columbus, advised he lost control of his vehicle in the snow on U.S. Route 23 and ran off the roadway, striking a guardrail. No injuries were reported.

– Simon Yandila, 39, of Chillicothe, advised he lost control in the snow on U.S. Route 3 and struck a concrete wall. No injuries were reported.

– Michael Murphy, 55, of New Holland, reported he struck a patch of ice on U.S. Route 23 and lost control of his vehicle, striking a guardrail. No injuries were reported.

– Ellen Havens, 53, of Ashville, advised she lost control on an icy bridge on U.S. Route 23 and struck the bridge. No injuries were reported.

– Lewis Massie, 65, of Williamsport, was cited with failure to yield when he struck a vehicle driven by Thomas Carr, 89, of Columbus, on U.S. Route 23. Subjects were treated for injuries.

– Kenneth Cox IV, 18, of Laurelville, was cited for failure to yield when he struck a vehicle driven by Steven Marincic, 44, of Chillicothe, on state Route 159. No injuries were reported.

– Jamey Glenn Wamsley, 37, of Washington Court House, was arrested on a warrant from Circleville Municipal Court for failure to appear on the original charge of theft.

– Johnny R. McClarren Jr., 18, of Williamsport, was arrested on a warrant issued from Circleville Municipal Court for failure to appear on the original charge of assault.

February 18

– An employee at Hallmark Management Service, 1476 Lancaster Pike, reported he had been receiving harassing calls from an ex-employee. A report was taken on telephone harassment.

– A resident in the 2000 block of Duvall Road reported problems with her 16-year-old son. A report was taken on an unruly child.

– A deputy responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 100 block of Pike Street, Williamsport. He was advised of an argument, but everything checked OK.

– A resident in the 29000 block of Poling Road, Kingston, reported a complaint. Everything checked OK.

– A deputy responded to a disabled vehicle on U.S. Route 22 at state Route 104 and discovered one of the occupants had a warrant from the Whitehall Police Department. He was taken into custody and transferred to the Whitehall PD.

– Charles Lone, 65, of Kingston, was cited for failure to control after he lost control on Kingston Whisler Road, Kingston, and struck a tree. No injuries were reported.

– Megan Paul, 19, of Ashville, reported she lost control of her vehicle, sliding off the roadway on U.S. Route 23 and striking a tree. No injuries were reported.

– Stacie Yeatts, 43, of Tarlton, advised she did not see a vehicle driven by Crystal Greeno, 33, of Circleville, before she struck it on South Court Street. No injuries were reported.

– Monta Greathouse, 56, of Orient, advised she lost control in the snow on U.S. Route 62 and struck a vehicle driven by Adam Dollmatsch, 34, of Mt. Sterling. No injuries were reported.

– Cynthia Webb, 36, of Circleville, advised she was stopped at a traffic light and thought the light had turned green when she struck a vehicle driven by Richard Taylor, 50, of Circleville. No injuries were reported.

Corey L. Blevins, 21, of Michigan, was arrested on a warrant of indictment for the original charge of receiving stolen property.

February 19

– Kevin Baker, 52, of New Concord, was cited for assured clear distance ahead when he struck a vehicle driven by Kathy Schafer, 54, of Columbus, on U.S. Route 23. Subjects were treated for injuries.

– EJ Giles, 22, of Frankfort, advised he lost control of his vehicle on the ice and slid off the road, striking a farm fence on state Route 104. No injuries were reported.

– Jesse M. Coy, 39, of London, was arrested on a warrant of indictment for the original charge of forgery and receiving stolen property.

– Zachary A. Tomlinson, 30, of Circleville, was arrested on a warrant issued from Circleville Municipal Court for the original charges of child endangering and assault.
