Larry C. Whaley, 68, of Circleville, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2015, at his home with his wife and family by his side.
He was born on Dec. 3, 1946, in Circleville, to Carl and Virginia (Capper) Whaley.
Larry loved the great outdoors, hunting, fishing and trapping. He was always helping others, a true friend to all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Sonja Whitinger; and a sister-in-law, Patricia “Pat” Twaddle.
Larry is survived by his wife, Sharon (Twaddle) Whaley; daughter, Sherri Evans; son, Michael (Mandy) Whaley; four grandchildren, Nathan and Jordan (Sierra) Evans, Jacob and Kyle Whaley; nephews, Dean and Todd Whitinger and Brad Hettinger; brothers-in-law, Floyd “Wink” and Lloyd Hettinger; sister-in-law, Linda Corby; former son-in-law, Rodney Evans; and many other relatives and friends, especially Jeff Woisznies.
There will be no service as cremation has been observed.
The family wishes to thank Adena Hospice nurses, Sherri, Megan, Kelly, Candance and Vickie, for the great care given to Larry, and thanks to Dr. Jeffrey Vandeusen at the Adena Cancer Center.
