Karen S. Harper

Karen S. Harper, 67, of Circleville, died 5:05 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2015, at Logan Elm Health Care Center following an extended illness.

She was born March 11, 1948, in Chillicothe, to the late Willard and Sara Young Ault. On April 8, 1983, she married Ron Harper, who survives.

Also surviving are daughters, Leeanne (Charles) McGuire of Edgewater, Florida, Tasha Gallimore of Port Orange, Florida, and Marjorie Ecton and Scott Harper, both of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Ashley Gallimore and Bradley, Travis and Tonya; a sister, Gwen Wilson; brothers, Larry (Barbara) Ault, Harold Ault, Keith (Alice) Ault, all of Chillicothe, and Bill (Sue) Ault of Zanesville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother and sister-in-law, John and Karen Ault; and by a brother-in-law, Jerry Wilson.

Karen retired from Logan Elm Health Care Center where she had worked for 27 years. She dearly loved her job and her residents. Karen’s co-workers were like family to her, and she considered it a pleasure working there.

The family wishes to express a thank you to everyone for their support, love and prayers. Her “Tootie” became her best friend.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, July 19, 2015, in the Ware Funeral Home, Chillicothe, with her brother, Pastor Larry Ault, officiating. There will be no calling hours.
