June 30
– An employee of South Central Power Company advised someone had put a meter reader on a residence in the 14000 block of state Route 104. A report was taken on theft.
– A caller reported a known female stole money from his wallet at Walmart. A report was taken on theft.
– A resident in the 2000 block of North Court Street reported someone stole her wallet. A report was taken on theft.
– A resident in the 5000 block of Hayesville Road reported an unknown person opened a Walmart credit card account with her information. A report was taken on identity theft.
– A resident in the 5000 block of Mill Street, Orient, reported someone damaged a trailer on his property. A report was taken on property damage.
– Weldon L. Potts, 30, of London, was arrested for theft at Walmart.
– A deputy responded to an animal complaint in the 21000 block of River Road, Circleville.
– A resident in the 900 block of Stoutsville Pike, Circleville, advised they found a license plate. The property was released to its owner.
– Teddy J. Crum, 28, was arrested on the original charge of receiving stolen property, as well as failure to appear for the original charges of theft and trespassing.
– Justin W. Sharon, 21, was arrested on the original charge of felonious assault.
July 1
– A resident in the 300 block of South Water Street, Williamsport, reported her daughter was receiving text messages from a known male who had been told several times not to contact her. A report was taken on telephone harassment.
– A 12-year-old male and a 16-year-old male were arrested for theft at Walmart.
– A resident in the 200 block of South Main Street, Williamsport, reported she was receiving unwanted text messages from her ex-boyfriend. A report was taken on telephone harassment.
– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 11000 block of Goodman Road, Ashville.
– A deputy responded to reports of vandalism to property in the 12000 block of London Road, Orient. No suspects have been identified at this time.
– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 8000 block of Stout Road, Circleville. The subject left prior to the deputy’s arrival.
– Robert Bevans, 45, of Mt. Sterling, struck a deer while traveling on Yankeetown Pike. No injuries were reported.
– Barbara Yerian, 50, of Circleville, was traveling southbound on Kingston Pike and struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Terri Tyree, 54, of Circleville. No injuries were reported.
July 2
– A deputy responded to reports of an unruly juvenile in the 6000 block of Dawnlight Circle North, Orient. The caller declined charges.
