February 13

– A resident in the 1200 block of South Pickaway Street reported her husband was drunk and attempting to drive away from the residence. Officers advised paraphernalia was located, and a report was taken on marijuana possession.

– Zebadiah Eggers was arrested for disorderly conduct by persisting after a caller in the 900 block of South Pickaway Street reported he was harassing her by phone and kept driving by the residence.

– A resident in the 500 block of East Ohio Street reported a juvenile had been in an argument with his mother’s boyfriend, who then left the scene. A report was taken for assault and menacing, and charges were filed.

– A resident in the 300 block of Eva Drive reported her 9-year-old son was refusing to go to school and was yelling at her. Officers reported the caller was given parenting advice after choosing to sit on the couch rather than assist the child getting ready.

– Officers responded to a property damage accident on East High Street at North Washington Street.

– Officers responded to reports of a strong odor and faint visual of smoke in a kitchen in the 300 block of East Franklin Street. The fire department handled the scene.

– The city’s canine unit responded to assist the Ohio State Highway Patrol on a traffic stop on U.S. Route 23 northbound north of County Road 511.

– Officers responded to an injury accident on West Main Street at West Mound Street.

– The city’s canine unit responded to assist the Ohio State Highway Patrol on a traffic stop on U.S. Route 23 at state Route 361.

– A caller in the area of East Union and Clinton streets reported three vehicles racing in the street and the drivers arguing with each other. Officers were unable to locate.

– A resident came to the police station to report an assault that occurred in the 200 block of Nicholas Drive. A report was taken.

– Officers responded to a noise complaint about extremely loud music in the 400 block of Watt Street.

– A caller reported seeing a male strike a female while walking on Watt Street near McCrea Street. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the subjects.

February 14

– A resident in the 100 block of York Street reported she had money stolen from her at the Speedway station on North Court Street. Officers advised it was a civil issue.

– Officers responded to two 911 hang-up calls in the 100 block of Margaret Avenue. The resident advised it was accidental but requested extra patrol due to a vehicle driving fast in front of his home.

– A resident in the 500 block of Gumm Place reported a loud banging noise coming from his neighbor’s home. Officers were unable to locate any noise.

– Brian Boysel was arrested in the 100 block of Margaret Avenue for disorderly conduct by intoxication.

– Nathan Groves, 27, was arrested at a residence on McCullock Avenue on a warrant from the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear. While at the residence, officers advised there were two juveniles present and the condition of the residence was unsuitable for children. Children’s Services took custody of the juveniles, and Bridgette Howiler, 24, was arrested for child endangering and obstruction. The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office also arrived on the scene to investigate the possible theft of services at the residence.

– A resident in the 300 block of Weldon Avenue came to the police station to report missing medication. A report was taken on theft.

– A Jackson resident reported his 17-year-old ran away from Coughlin Automotive on U.S. Route 23. A report was taken. The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office later reported they found the juvenile, and he was transported back to the police station.

– A resident in the 600 block of Edgewood Drive reported receiving a text message from a Texas phone number, and she believes ISIS hacked a military server. The caller wanted law enforcement to be aware in case of similar complaints. Information was obtained.

– Extra patrol was requested in the 400 block of North Pickaway Street after residents observed a vehicle on their property driving with lights out. The property owners said it was the second time the vehicle had accessed their property. Officers made a traffic stop based on the license plate and vehicle description reported by the caller, and a report was taken on trespassing.

– A resident in the 1100 block of Atwater Avenue reported he heard a loud bang outside and realized his lawn ornaments had been knocked over. Officers advised no vandalism had occurred, the ornaments had just fallen over.

– Officers responded to a landlord-tenant dispute in the 100 block of West High Street.

February 15

– A resident in the 900 block of South Pickaway Street came to the police station to report she had been assaulted by her boyfriend on Florence Chapel Pike. She was transported to Berger Hospital, and the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office was alerted to follow up.

– A resident in the 200 block of Villa Drive reported he had been without heat for a long time and needed assistance. Circleville EMS arrived on the scene, and officers reported the caller got the heat back on.

– Officers responded to a property damage hit-skip accident in the 300 block of Walnut Street.

– Officers responded to a noise complaint in the 400 block of Lancaster Pike.

– A resident in the 400 block of East Union Street reported her juvenile son was out past curfew. The juvenile was located in the 300 block of Clinton Street where he had wrecked his bicycle. A report was taken.

– Brandi King was issued a summons for trespassing after a resident in the 800 block of South Scioto Street reported she was on the front porch and refusing to leave.

– A resident in the 100 block of York Street reported they paid a subject to fix a vehicle and purchased parts, but they believed the subject had returned the parts for cash and never repaired the vehicle. The officer advised it was a civil issue, and the parts had not been sold. Arrangements were made to get the parts back.

– Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 100 block of Pleasant Street.

– A resident in the 300 block of Weldon Avenue requested to speak to an officer about a firearm.

– A resident in the 300 block of South Court Street reported his motorcycle had been stolen. Officers reported it had been impounded following a parking complaint.

– A resident in the 300 block of East Mound Street reported theft and damage to her property. A report was taken on burglary and criminal mischief.

– Officers responded to a property damage accident in the 300 block of West Mound Street.

– A caller reported he was assaulted by being thrown out of Gibby’s on West Main Street. A report was taken on disorderly conduct.

– A caller reported two flatbed trucks were dropping furniture along Walnut Creek Pike. When the officer arrived, the trucks were back picking up the items they lost.

– A resident in the 200 block of Lee Court reported a male knocked at her door, and when she didn’t answer, he walked to the back of her house. The scene checked OK.

– Officers performed a well-being check on a juvenile in the 100 block of Barry Drive. The juvenile checked OK.

– A caller reported her vehicle was vandalized while parked at Genesis Health Care on Atwater Avenue. A report was taken on criminal damage.

February 16

– A resident in the 500 block of East Mound Street reported all four of her vehicle tires were flat. A report was taken on criminal damage.

– Officers responded to a noise complaint in the 100 block of Dunmore Road.

– A resident in the 400 block of Watt Street reported she saw a male in her back yard and was hearing noises from her window. The scene checked OK.

– An employee at Dynahoe reported a customer rented a tool on Feb. 11 and had not returned it and was avoiding them. A report was taken on theft.

– A caller in the 300 block of East Franklin Street reported a few items had been stolen and he believed he knew where they were. A report was taken on theft.

– Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 100 block of Rustic Drive.

– A resident in the 400 block of Lancaster Pike reported the theft of prescription medication.

– A resident in the 100 block of West Corwin Street reported her 17-year-old son was being unruly and assaulting his nurse. Officers requested a medic for a female with a bite wound. The juvenile was transported to Berger Hospital for evaluation, and a report was taken on domestic violence.

– Officers performed a well-being check on a juvenile in the 300 block of Logan Street. Checked OK.

– A resident in the 300 block of North Court Street reported an unruly 16-year-old juvenile. A report was taken.

– Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 300 block of Logan Street.

– A resident in the 200 block of Villa Drive reported she was assaulted by her daughter, who then left the residence. A report was taken.
