William F. Spiller, 70, of Circleville, with his family at his side, went home to be with the Lord June 11, 2015, at Mt. Carmel East Hospital.
Bill was born Aug. 30, 1944, to the late Don Spiller and Emma Jean (Pennington) Cox.
Bill was a U. S. Army veteran, having served in Korea.
Bill was a happy, strong Christian man, loved life, his friends, family and community, and was his grandkids’ biggest fan. He was a man of many talents and had an eye for detail. He enjoyed woodworking, spending time with his family and watching his grandkids play sports.
Surviving are daughters, Larina “Renee” Spiller of Circleville, Jeanna (Les) Wilson of Circleville and Tera (Dwayne) McCloskey of Chillicothe; siblings, Donna Collins, Thomas E. Spiller, Sandra (Harold) Dowden, Linda (Gary) Leasure, Rick (Charlotte) Spiller and Donna (Scott) Mueller; his beloved grandchildren, Alysha (Mike) Radiavacki, Emily Spiller, Megan Spiller-Bragenazer, Tanner and Brady Wilson, and Miranda and Seth McCloskey; great-grandchildren, Indy Lambert and Jack Radiovacki; and lifelong friends, Larry and Judy Justice.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Terry; and brother-in-law, Jim Collins.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston. Burial will follow with military honors in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hill’s.
