Donald Louis Hipp, 78, of Circleville, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015, at his residence.
He was born on Aug. 8, 1936, in Buffalo, New York, to Phillip and Loretta (Kroll) Hipp.
He retired from E.I. DuPont after 35 years and was a Navy veteran, member of AMVETS #2256, American Legion #134 and Moose Lodge and was an avid bowler, golfer, fisherman and hockey enthusiast.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Roger Hipp; and sisters, Helen Dougherty and Lois Bloxham.
Donald is survived by his wife, Ann E. (Sobieraj) Hipp; sons, Jeff (Angie) and Jim (Kathy) Hipp; four grandchildren, Jeff (Toni) Hipp Jr., Moina Hipp Hupp (Scott Smith), Zach (Mindy) Frizzell and Matt (Christina) Frizzell; and 11 great-grandchildren, Shelby, Abby, Brooklyn, Ketelyn, Brooke, Oakley, Makayla, Melinda, Taylor, Blake and Londyn.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015, at the Wellman Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Blankenship officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from noon until the time of service at 3 p.m.
