John Stephen Sark, 62, of Delaware and formerly of Ashville, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at home surrounded by his family.
He was born Nov. 11, 1952, in Columbus, to Charles R. and Wilma M. (Robbins) Sark, who survive.
John retired after 35 years as the chief project engineer for Emmerson-Liebert Corp. in Delaware. He had attended Ohio University and was a graduate of Teays Valley High School in 1971.
Besides his parents, he is survived by sister, Marty Barr of Ashville; nephews, Alan Barr of Columbus and Aaron (LeahMarie) Barr of Wisconsin; aunt, Jeri Robbins of Circleville; special uncle, Bill (Peg) Robbins of Ashville; uncle Darrell Robbins of California; special friend, Cris Capocciana; and numerous cousins.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 5, 2015, at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St., Ashville, with Pastor Kevin Pees and Pastor Frank Waters officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
