Edna Faye Puckett, 86, of Williamsport, and formerly of Waverly, passed away Friday, May 29, 2015, at Genesis Healthcare in Circleville.
She was born on Dec. 25, 1928, in Whitesville, West Virginia, to the late Dale Smith and Velva Belle (Petry) Burnside.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Carmel and Gene Burnside; and sisters, Mary, Winnie, Ruby, Dolly, Layune and Virginia.
She is survived by husband, Kenneth N. Puckett; sons, Doug (Kim) Hendricks of South Bloomfield, Dean (Shelly) Hendricks of Circleville and Dale (Waldena) Hendricks of Laurelville; daughter, Phyllis (Bob) Romaniw of Hinkley; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2015, in the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St., Ashville, with Pastor Stephen Palmer officiating. Interment will follow in Harrison Township Cemetery, South Bloomfield. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
