Susan C. Norris, of Brown Memorial Home, Circleville, formerly of Chillicothe, died 3:40 a.m. Monday, May 18, 2015, in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, following an extended illness.
She was born in Ross County to the late Clarence E. and Myrtle I. Carroll Norris.
Surviving are sisters, Patti Nolan of Chillicothe and Marjorie (Robert) Daumann of Dayton; a sister-in-law, Pat Norris of Circleville and Piketon; a brother-in-law, Robert Carnes of Circleville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Eugene Norris; sisters, Mary Finn and Maxine Carnes; and a brother-in-law, Tom Finn.
Susan was a member of Walnut Street United Methodist Church. She retired from the Chillicothe Telephone Company. Susan enjoyed the simple things in life, mostly being around and visiting with other people. This always made her day. She equally enjoyed trying to find a good deal at a local yard sale.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 22, 2015, in the Ware Funeral Home with Pastor Lori Lossie officiating. Burial will follow in Springbank Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Ware Funeral Home.
