Larry R. Bussert, 68, of Amanda, died May 16, 2015.
He was born on Oct. 25, 1946, in Fairfield County, the son of Merle and Kathryn (Wharton) Bussert.
He was a veteran of Army 101st Airborne Division serving in Vietnam, Past Commander and member of American Legion Post 57, life member of AMVETS 2246 and co-owner of Merle Bussert and Sons Inc.
Larry is survived by his wife, Helen “Susie” (Rose) Bussert; daughter, Lanette (Chuck) Westhoven; son, Larry (Tracy) Bussert II; grandchildren, Dustin (Kim) and Daniel (Meghan) Westhoven and Berett and Madison Bussert; great-grandchildren, Colton and Raylee Westhoven; brother, Roger (Lisa) Bussert; and beloved dog, JJ.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Pastor Dave Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Amanda Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
