Destination Imagination team to compete at globals

The Destination Imagination team from Teays Valley East Middle School recently qualified for the Global Destination Imagination tournament, which will be held at the University of Tennessee from May 20-24. A $1,000 grant from the Teays Valley Educational Foundation will help fund their trip.

“Qualifying to compete in this tournament is an incredible accomplishment and we are thrilled to help fund their trip,” said Spencer Cheek, TVEF president. “We wish them luck.”
