Stephen Earl Lingo, 65, of Circleville, passed away on Jan. 26, 2017, after complications from surgery.
Steve graduated Circleville High School in 1969 and attended Kent State University on a wrestling scholarship, where he witnessed the Kent State massacre.
Preceding him in death were his father, Lester E. Lingo; and mother, Ruth Adams Lingo.
Steve is survived by his son, Andrew MacSkimming of Pennsylvania; and brother, David (Tina) Lingo; as well as his niece and nephews, Randy, Lindsey and Michael of Kemp, Texas.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, at Forest Cemetery, 905 N. Court St., Circleville, with Mike Henderson officiating.
