Walnut 5th graders to receive Chromebooks through TVEF grant

Walnut Elementary School fifth grade teachers Ginny Gebhart-Fee, Rebecca Ohlinger and Sarah Wyke recently received a $2,000 grant to be used to purchase Chromebooks for the fifth grade classrooms.

“The fifth grade teachers and students from Walnut Elementary would like to express their gratitude to the Teays Valley Education Foundation,” Gebhart-Fee said. “Several Chromebooks were purchased to provide students the opportunity to deepen and personalize their learning process in all content areas. The TVEF is a tremendous asset to our district and we appreciate their generosity.”
