CIRCLEVILLE – Ohio State University Extension will host a three-part “Dining With Diabetes” program beginning Sept. 28 in Pickaway County.

Anyone with concerns about diabetes or anyone interested in controlling blood sugar is encouraged to participate and to bring a family member, friend, caregiver or other support person.

Participants will learn how to incorporate good, healthy cooking techniques and other practices to help control blood sugar. The course includes watching live cooking demonstrations, eating a delicious meal, gaining new insights on healthy eating and learning new skills to manage diabetes.

The cost for the three part class is $20 for one person or $25 for two people, which covers all three sessions to be held at the Pickaway County Service Center, 110 Island Rd., Circleville.

The sessions will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 28, Oct. 5 and Oct. 10.

To register for the program, contact OSU Extension, Pickaway County at 740-474-7534 or email Michelle Treber at [email protected].

Payment to hold a spot is required by Sept. 22.
