David Ray Thompson, 63, of Laurelville, passed away on Sept. 9, 2016.
He was born on Dec. 12, 1952, in Hocking County, to Norman and Violet (Poling) Thompson.
His father preceded him in death.
He was a retired owner/operator of T & D Thompson.
David is survived by his mother, Violet Thompson; daughter, Kelly (Steve Kwasy) Thompson; brother, Terry (Karen) Thompson; niece, Kimberly Thompson; nephew, Travis (Jessica) Thompson; great-nephew, Treyton Thompson; great-niece, Pia Thompson; and by his girlfriend, Karen McNeely.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016, in the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville, with burial following in Green Summit Cemetery. Friends were welcomed from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home in Laurelville.
