Doris June Moss, 91, of Chillicothe, formerly of Circleville, passed away on Aug. 17, 2016, in Chillicothe.
She was born on Oct. 14, 1924, in Canton, to Chester and Muna (Gatchell) Thompson.
She previously worked for Therm-O-Disc.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Hazel McGill; and brothers, Fred and Clarence Thompson.
June is survived by her husband, James N. Moss, whom she married on June 28, 1947; children, Gail (Joel) King of Florida, Daniel (Kay) Moss of Columbus and Cynthia (Greg) May of Chillicothe; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren with two on the way.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 22, 2016, at Crossroads Church with Pastor Tim Throckmorton officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21, 2016, at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.
