Virginia Mae Karshner, 91, of Laurelville, passed away on Aug. 13, 2016.
She was born on Aug. 8, 1925. in Pickaway County, to Roy and Viola (Pritchard) Strawser.
She retired from E.I. DuPont.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Harold, Evelyn, Maxine and Mildred.
Virginia is survived by her daughter, Karen Wiget of South Bloomingville; grandson, Brent Swackhammer of Laurelville; great-grandchildren, Trevor and Brayden, Stephanie Swackhammer of Circleville; and by two brothers, John Strawser of Circleville and Ray Strawser of Dublin.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19, 2016, at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with burial to follow in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
