Michael D. Myers, 67, of Kingston, formerly of Amanda, passed away Monday, Aug. 8, 2016.
He was born Nov. 10, 1948, and was the son of the late Denzel and Mildred (Spung) Myers.
Mike was a 1968 graduate of Amanda Clearcreek High School, retired from the City of Lancaster Water Department and attended the Amanda United Methodist Church.
He is survived by two sons, Michael D. “Chip” (Felicia) Myers II and Robert Lee (Jessica) Myers, both of Lancaster; grandchildren, Hazel Marie, Kenzey Quinn and Henry Lee Myers; sister, Carolyn Jean Stedman of Kingston; brother, Randolph Lee “Zeke” Myers of Kingston; and his former wife, Jackie Myers of Stoutsville.
Cremation has been handled with care by the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2016, at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda.
