Freda Yvonne Burggraf, 74, of Cocoa, Florida, formerly of Chillicothe, passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, July 31, 2016, surrounded by her family.

She was born March 31, 1942, in Chillicothe, to the late Ralph Dewey and Marcelene Audrey (Knox) Miller.

Freda is survived by two children, Sherral Y. Boyer of Canal Winchester and Kelly J. (Damian) Boos of Cocoa, Florida; six grandchildren, Nathan Boyer of Columbus, Niccole (David) Smith Jr. of Waverly, Sarah Boyer of Canal Winchester, Damian (Courtney) Boos Jr. of Melbourne, Florida, Randy (Samantha) Boos of Waterford, Michigan, and Anthony (Kayla) Carlomany of Mocksville, North Carolina; six great-great-grandchildren, Kyndall Smith, Savannah Seberig, Karlie Smith, Mikayla Boyer, Jacob Seberig and David Smith III; as well as one sister, Marjorie A. “Toni” Terry.

In addition to her parents, Freda was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey L. Burggraf; a sister, Lorna Jean Setzler; and a brother, Ralphie Miller.

Freda retired from the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles after working with them for 20 years. She was a volunteer emergency medical technician in Stoutsville from 1982-1984. Most recently she was a member of the Space Coast Line Dancers from 2009-2016 in Florida.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday, Aug. 5, 2016, at the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Cline officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at noon on Friday.
