Ray Lewis “Buck” Holcomb, 72, formerly of Mt. Sterling, died Monday, July 25, 2016, in Four Seasons of Washington Court House.

He was born Nov. 10, 1943, in Roseville.

He was preceded in death by parents, Wilbur and Bernice (Mullins) Holcomb; sisters, Louise (PeeWee), Marilyn, Kathy (Doodle Bug), JoAnn, Norma Jean, Betty and Mary Jane; brothers, Melvin (Ike) Holcomb and Richard Holcomb; daughter, Christina (Holcomb) Criner; and granddaughter, Michelle Rae Bowman.

He is survived by his loving family, which includes brothers, John and Larry Holcomb; daughters, Linda Rinaldi, Sherry Holcomb and Denise Miller; grandchildren, Daniel Carson, Jennifer Stricklett, Jacob Holcomb, Erica Miller, Brittany Carson, Nicole McCann and Alyssa McCann, Stacey Weimer, Jeremy Miller, Haleigh McCann, Dakota Rinaldi and Montana Rinaldi; 21 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 30, 2016, at the Porter-Tidd Funeral Home, Mt. Sterling. A Memorial service will begin at noon with the Rev. James Blankenship officiating.

In keeping with Buck’s wishes, cremation has been requested.
