Gary Eldon Julian, age 76, of Amanda, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016, at Mt. Carmel East Hospital.
He was born Oct. 28, 1939, in Fairfield County, to the late Charles and Coral (Kern) Julian.
Gary was a member of Amanda Presbyterian Church and a 1957 graduate of Amanda High School.
He was a volunteer firefighter and EMT for Amanda Township. He worked 30 years for ArcAir and 15 years at TS Trim.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Carolyn; son, Rick (Karen) Julian; grandchildren, Bobby Jo (fiance Joe Ottjepka) and Shane (Allison) Julian; brothers, Ed (Carren), Don (Tonya) and Keith (Marlene); and sister, Charlene (Bill) Geraughty.
In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his son, Rex.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 14, 2016, at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Rev. Julian Taggart officiating. Burial to follow in Amanda Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
