The second annual Cody D’s Run, Walk & Roll will be held June 25 at Mary Virginia Crites-Hannan Park in Circleville. The event benefits Traumatic Brain Injury research centers and families in need.
Registration for the event is 9 to 9:45 a.m. June 25 with the race beginning at 10 a.m. Awards for top three male and female overall will be presented at 11:15 a.m., with a special prize for every participant under age 13.
Entry fees are $25 for adults, and participants who register online by June 12 will receive a free t-shirt. The registration fee is $15 for participants age 13 years and younger. Registration also is available in person the day of the event.

Cody D’s Run, Walk & Roll is held in honor of a boy named Cody, who on May 7, 2011, at age 4 was in a car accident with his mother, Carrie, and suffered a severe traumatic brain injury. He spent five months at Nationwide Children’s Hospital enduring many surgeries and therapy, but Cody eventually lost the battle with TBI on July 11, 2015, at age 9.
Cody D’s Run, Walk & Roll is a non-profit charitable event hosted annually in Circleville with a mission to raise awareness of traumatic brain injuries and provide support to those affected through education and advocacy.
