Richard Mack Timmons Jr., age 31, of Columbus, passed away at Mount Carmel Medical Center on June 3, 2016.
He was born Dec. 14, 1984, in Columbus, to Richard and Laura (Briggs) Timmons.
Richard is survived by his father, Richard M. Timmons Sr. of Rockbridge; mother, Laura A. Timmons of Arizona; sisters and brothers, Allison Timmons of Columbus, Rackel Rosado of South Bloomingville, Raymond “Ray” Timmons of Ashville and Hannah Fultz of Rockbridge; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his grandparents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Tammy Timmons.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, June 10, 2016, at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with cremation to follow.
