Garnett Sue Johnson, 84, of Columbus, passed away on June 5, 2016.
She was born on Jan. 23, 1932, in Salyersville, Kentucky, to Floyd and Clara (Cooper) Hale.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Johnson; siblings, Kathryn May and Hysell and Clayton Hale.
She is survived by one son, Mark (Jennifer) Johnson; grandchildren, Shawn Johnson and Emily Jones; and by great-grandchildren, Bryan, Makenzie, Genevive and Mason.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2016, in the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the graveside in Dayton National Cemetery on Thursday, June 9, 2016.
