Gloria Lucille VanGundy, 82, of Circleville, passed away on May 17, 2016.
She was born on June 22, 1933, in Williamsport, to Kenneth and Ethel (Bloomfield) Jacobs.
She was a Girl Scout leader and had worked for Pickaway County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert VanGundy Jr.; and siblings, Joanne VanGundy, Carolyn Jacobs and Ronald Jacobs.
Gloria is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Donna) VanGundy, Kathy (Jake Carrel) Moore and Joy (Mike) Kerek; grandchildren, Tanda and Robbie Moore, Kimberly (Eric) West, Denise VanGundy and Jacob (Jordan) VanGundy; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Josie, Wyatt and Hayden; and by sisters, Jane Jacobs and Marilyn (Joe) Norris.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 20, 2016, at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with burial to follow at New Holland Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Pickaway County Special Olympics, 200 E. High St., Circleville, Ohio 43113.
