Eva Lynn Blaney, 55, of Reno, Nevada, formerly of Circleville, passed away May 1, 2016, in Reno.
She was born Feb. 3, 1961, in Circleville, the daughter of Richard Lee and Evelyn Viola (Turner) Blaney.
She was preceded in death by her mother; her step-mother, Nedra Blaney; and her aunt and uncle, Pat and Helen Turner.
Eva was a 1979 graduate of Circleville High School and Pickaway-Ross. She moved to Reno in 1986, where she was a supervisor for Nevada Early Intervention Services.
Eva believed in creating opportunities for families to grow from a child’s differences. She was a creative free spirit who consistently acted as a positive inspirational leader for her friends, family and co-workers. Eva was an effective advocate for kids with special needs.
She was a compassionate loving sister, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her devoted daughter, Monica (Justin) Enget; her very special grandson, Austin Enget; father, Richard Blaney; siblings, Willliam (Melinda) Blaney, Cheryl O’Quinn, Elizabeth (Dana) Duckworth, Richard Lee (Jeanne) Blaney II, Judith (Brian) Gantzler, Angelina (Brett) Triplett and Gregory Turner; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2016, at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home, 151 E. Main St., Circleville.
