Matthew Tyler “Ty” Wilkins, 55, of Circleville, passed away on May 1, 2016, in Columbus.
He was born on Dec. 10, 1960, in Pickaway County, to Carl and Gladys “Libby” (Stonerock) Wilkins.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by brother, Todd Wilkins.
Ty loved collecting guitars and playing music, and he loved his grandchildren.
He is survived by his mother, Libby Wilkins; his daughter, Leah (Doug) Sprankle; grandchildren, Nolan and Aurora; two brothers, Chris (Connie) and Duane (Lisa) Wilkins; and by sister, Tammy.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 5:30 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2016, in the Starkey Pavilion at Mary Virginia Crites-Hannan Park, 1230 Pontius Rd., Circleville. A brief eulogy will be given by Ty’s daughter, Leah Sprankle, followed by an open mic to give all the opportunity to share their memories of Ty. Refreshments will be provided. Ty’s memorial will be held as an open house with a ceremonial balloon release at the end of the evening. All those who wish to pay their respects are welcome.
