Mary Kathryn (Ebert) McNeal, 92, passed away on April 8, 2016, at home in Circleville.
She was born Feb. 9, 1924, to the late Walter L. and Bessie L. (Tisdale) Ebert.
She married Clell “Shorty” McNeal on Feb. 25, 1943. After 50 years of marriage, Clell passed away April 30, 1993.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister and brother-in-law, Mattie Me “Pat” and Amos “Dick” Van Fossen; brother and sister-in-law, Donald “Don” and Delores “Sally” Ebert; brothers, Robert “Bob” and John Ebert; two half-brothers, Marne Tisdale and Gearald Ebert.
Mary is survived by son, Melvin L. (Vickie Johnston) McNeal of Circleville; sister, Matlene (Bill) Metcalf; sisters-in-law, Sylvia Ebert and Mary Ann McNeal; four grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; one foster son, Ronnie Diemock; and many other relatives.
After 15 years at Pickaway Manor as a dietary supervisor, she retired in 1985.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 15, 2016. Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Wellman Funeral Home in Circleville with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow in Green Summit Cemetery, Adelphi.
