Steven Dale Hoffman, 66, of Ashville, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2016, at OSU Medical Center, Columbus.
He was born on July 18, 1949, in Chillicothe, to the late James Orland and Garnett Maxine (Angus) Hoffman.
Steve worked for TP Mechanical Contractors as an estimator for over 20 years and was a graduate of Reynoldsburg High School.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Lynne M. (Schmidlin) Hoffman; children, Stacy (Chip) Bell of Bexley, Janna (Jim) Maderia of Reynoldsburg and Chad Hoffman of Ashville; grandchildren, Connor Maderia, Chase Hoffman, Haley Hoffman and a number of other grandchildren; sister, Nancy (Bert) McNabb of New Albany; nephews and nieces, Mick (Lori) Wellman, Brooks (Kira) Schmidlin, Cathy (Dave) Roby, Anthony (Ashley) Schmidlin, Taylor, Jordan and Skylar Roby, Ciera Schmidlin, Donald Whitmer and Jimmy (Donya) O’Connor.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2016, at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St., Ashville, with a service at 11 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2016, Rev. Paul Barnes officiating. Interment will follow in Reber Hill Cemetery.
