Cynthia A. Hupp

Cynthia A. Hupp, 75, of Chillicothe, unexpectedly passed from this life on Monday afternoon, April 4, 2016, at her residence.

She was born Sept. 16, 1940, in Chillicothe, the daughter of Lawrence and Berniece Irene (Jorgensen) Peters.

On Oct. 11, 1959, she married Max B. Hupp, who survives. Also surviving is her daughter, Delores Hupp of Circleville; her sons, Daniel (Ann) Hupp and Donald (Shelley) Hupp, all of Chillicothe; her granddaughter, Ashleigh Hupp; her sisters, Shirley (Edwin) Hupp of Chillicothe and Kris (Brad Johnson) Peters of Seymour, Wisconsin; her sister-in-law, Ruthann (Lloyd) Swackhammer of Laurelville; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her in-laws, Ronald and Garnet Hupp; her sister-in-law, June (Boyd) Swackhammer; and brother-in-law, Lester (Betty) Hupp.

She and her husband operated Hupp Electric for 39 years with Cynthia serving as office manager. She enjoyed knitting, needlework and crafts and will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016, in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home, Chillicothe, with Rev. Bruce Hines officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
