Ruth JoAnn Martin, 82, of Laurelville, went to be with the Lord on April 3, 2016.
She was born on Oct. 6, 1933, in Hocking County, to Arthur “Ike” and Ada (Dillie) Steele.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Karen Spicer and Cloyd Steele.
JoAnn is survived by her husband, Orlando Martin; children, Linda Martin (Randy), Larry (Twila) Martin, Kathy Martin, Dena (Chipper) Smith, Tami (Rex) Carroll and Terry Martin; grandchildren, Heather and Chaunce Harris, Justin (Jennie) Carroll, Zachary (Jerri) Smith and Cody (Megan) Smith; and by seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2016, at the Green Summit Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville.
