Shelly C. Muncy, 52, of Circleville, left this world to go be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, March 20, 2016.
She lived a full life and traveled to faraway places (Brazil, Mexico, and Nepal) and many of the states across this great country. Enjoying God’s creations filled her life with joy.
She loved life and was grateful for her opportunity to serve the citizens of Ohio for over 25 years with the Department of Rehabilitation and Correction.
She graduated from Teays Valley High School (1981) and earned a B.S. degree in Psychology from Wright State University.
God blessed Shelly with the most wonderful family, and those surviving include Florence Statczar, Robert and Laraine Muncy, Tammy Muncy, Robert Muncy (Jane Weaver), Allysabeth and Eric Farrell, Cadance, Kyan and Cohen Farrell, Mackinzie and Kevin Douglas, Caroline Douglas, Keegan Irwin, and Conor Irwin.
Shelly asks that everyone take time each day to observe and appreciate God’s creations.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2016, at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St., Ashville, and from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Logan Elm Baptist Church, 22530 Bolender Pontius Rd., Circleville, with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 2 p.m., Pastor Dave Cavanaugh officiating.
Shelly encourages you to come with a big smile on your face and to wear your favorite beach attire, as she loved spending time each summer at Oak Island in North Carolina.
