Mary M. Funk, 70, of Mt Gilead, died at 9:46 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2016, at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, where she had been a patient the past week.
Mrs. Funk was born Feb. 26, 1946, in Pickaway County, to Roscoe and Dorothy Payne Bivens.
She lived most of her life in Pickaway County and Mt. Gilead, where she formerly was a fast food manager.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Joanne Bivens; and a brother, Tommy Bivens.
Mrs. Funk is survived by three sons, Robert (Billie Jo) Funk, Matthew Funk and Andy Funk, all of Mt. Gilead; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Paul (Sue) Bivens of Circleville and Raymond Bivens of Delaware.
The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2016, at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House. Burial will follow in the Springlawn Cemetery in Williamsport. Friends may call from noon Thursday until the time of service at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home in Washington Court House.
