– A resident in the 400 block of East Union Street reported a known male was making threats toward him. A report was taken on menacing.
– A resident in the 300 block of Sunset Drive reported a known subject took money and jewelry from her home. A report was taken on felony theft.
– A caller reported a male subject appeared to be smoking marijuana while driving northbound on South Court Street. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
– A resident in the 500 block of Sycamore Drive reported someone had been tampering with their cable/telephone boxes mounted to the outside of the home. Information was obtained, and extra patrol was requested.
– A delivery driver called 911 to request assistance getting his truck into the parking lot at Big Lots on Lancaster Pike due to traffic and the tight turn.
– A Lancaster resident reported an unknown vehicle struck his vehicle at the Eagles on East Main Street and left the scene. A report was taken on a property damage hit-skip.
– A resident in the 1100 block of South Pickaway Street reported a stray pit bull was in his yard attacking his cats. The dog warden was advised. Officers were unable to locate the dog.
– A caller reported finding a used needle in the alley beside the Ohio Market on East Ohio Street. Officers were unable to locate a syringe in the area advised.
– A resident in the 1200 block of South Pickaway Street reported a pit bull attacked two of her cats and was covered in blood. The dog warden was advised. Officers were unable to locate the dog.
– A resident in the 200 block of Second Avenue came to the police station to report withdrawals from her bank account she did not make. A report was taken on theft.
– A resident in the 200 block of South Pickaway Street reported some miscellaneous items were stolen from her shed. The officer advised it was a civil issue.
– Circleville Municipal Court made a probation violation arrest on Christina Jenkins. A warrant was served.
– Officers responded to an activated alarm at Dynahoe on East Main Street. The call was canceled by the alarm company.
– A resident came to the police station to report his mother had been scammed. No report was taken. The resident agreed to get more information and contact police on Monday.
– A caller reported a juvenile was attempting to start a fire in the 200 block of Logan Street. Officers spoke with the subjects, who advised they had a small cooking fire, but it had been put out. The scene checked OK.
– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 700 block of Maplewood Avenue. The scene checked OK.
– A 911 caller reported he had been assaulted by another male at Elsea’s Mobile Home park and requested medical attention. Circleville EMS responded to the scene, and a report was taken on assault.
– A resident in the 300 block of Walnut Street reported someone had thrown a beer bottle into the windshield of their truck. No report was taken.
– A resident in the 200 block of Mace Drive reported seeing several subjects in the wooded area near the residence with flashlights near the railroad tracks. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.
– A resident in the 400 block of East Union Street reported she came home to find her ex-boyfriend in her residence, and he left with several items. The officer advised it was a civil matter, and the male agreed to give the items back.
