The following cases recently were heard by Judge P. Randall Knece in Pickaway County Common Pleas Court:
– Yancey D. Barbee, 56, of McArthur, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control. He was sentenced to 10 months in state prison at Orient.
– Justin D. Blankenship, 30, of Waverly, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control. He was sentenced to nine months in state prison at Orient.
– David A. Days, 55, of Piketon, pleaded guilty to possession of heroin. He will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.
– Bryan S. Greeno, 31, of East Franklin Street, Circleville, pleaded guilty to possession of heroin. He was sentenced to five years in state prison at Orient, a $1,689.03 forfeiture and a six-month driver’s license suspension.
– Deborah J. Mackay, 60, of East Franklin Street, Circleville, pleaded guilty to theft from the elderly. She will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.
– Brandon L. Prater, 30, of Reynoldsburg, pleaded guilty to complicity to possession of cocaine. He was sentenced to two years in state prison at Orient, a $444 forfeiture and a six-month driver’s license suspension.
– William Randall Preece, 38, of Logan, pleaded not guilty to two counts of breaking and entering and two counts of theft. A pretrial hearing is set for March 11.
– Dale Sheets Jr., 36, of state Route 56 East, Circleville, pleaded guilty to a violation of terms of intervention. He was ordered to continue intervention.
– Curtis E. Smith, 55, of Chillicothe, pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine. He was sentenced to nine months in state prison at Orient and a six-month driver’s license suspension.
– Steven C. Weaver, 33, of Nelsonville, pleaded guilty to forgery and receiving stolen property. A pretrial hearing is set for March 11.
– Ryan Wurtzel, 41, of Chillicothe, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control. He was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail.
– Timothy E. Zeimer, 37, of Railroad Street, Stoutsville, pleaded guilty to possession of heroin. He will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.
