February 3

– A resident in the 4000 block of Duvall Road, Ashville, reported someone took medication from her residence. A report was taken on theft.

– An employee at the 56 Mini Mart on state Route 56 East reported they received a check that came back on a closed account. A report was taken on a bad check.

– Deputies took a report at Logan Elm on a 15-year-old male who was assaulted by another male while at school.

– A resident in the 1500 block of South Perry Road reported he had items taken from his barn. A report was taken on breaking and entering.

– Thomas A. Smith, 23, of Orient, was arrested for aggravated menacing in the 10300 block of Mantle Road, Orient.

– A resident in the 100 block of North Water Street, Williamsport, reported a runaway juvenile. The juvenile was later located.

February 4

– A female juvenile advised she was having problems with another juvenile at Logan Elm school. A report was taken.

– Deputies responded to an activated alarm in the 6000 block of Hagerty Road, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 4800 block of Duvall Road, Ashville.

– A deputy performed a well-being check in the 21000 block of River Road, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 4800 block of Duvall Road, Ashville.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on property in the 10000 block of Mantle Road, Orient.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 4000 block of state Route 361, Circleville.

– A deputy responded to a report of a dog bite on Iroquois Way, Orient.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on property in the 3000 block of Clifford Avenue, Ashville.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on found property at Freedom Run Road and Bunker Hill, Orient.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 8000 block of Harrisburg Pike, Orient.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 9000 block of Independence Avenue, Orient.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person in the 9000 block of Cordle Lane, Circleville.

– A 17-year-old juvenile from Amanda advised he was traveling eastbound on Ashville Fairfield Road when a deer ran onto the roadway and was struck. No injuries were reported.

– Erin McCarthy, 30, of Ashville, was cited for failure to yield right of way when she pulled into an intersection on state Route 752 and was struck by a vehicle driven by Jason Fields of Ashville. No injuries were reported.

– A vehicle owned by Whitney Ackley of Circleville was parked in a parking lot on U.S. Route 23 and was struck by an unknown vehicle that left the scene. A report was taken on a private property hit-skip accident.

February 5

– Mary K. Johnson, 30, of Wellston, was arrested for possession of drugs, Scheduled I, II and possession of drugs, Scheduled III, IV, V, during a traffic stop on U.S. Route 23.

– A resident in the 15900 block of Hedges Road, Laurelville, reported two rings were stolen from her residence. The rings were located at a pawn shop. A report was taken on theft.

– Lonnie L. Spaulding, 49, of Orient, was arrested for domestic violence and assault in the 13400 block of London Road.

– Kendell L. Kirby, 29, of Circleville, was arrested for theft at Walmart.

– A deputy responded to the report of prowlers in the 12000 block of Tarlton Road, Tarlton.

– A deputy responded to a domestic dispute in the 9800 block of U.S. Route 22 East, Stoutsville.

– A deputy responded to reports of a vehicle fire in the 30000 block of state Route 180, Laurelville.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on a person at Walmart.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on several people at Hargus Lake, Circleville.

February 6

– Tyler J. Stone, 26, of Mt. Sterling, was arrested for a warrant out of Madison County after deputies responded to reports of an assault in the 13800 block of Era Road, Mt. Sterling.

– A summons was issued for a 17-year-old male in the 15800 block of Matville Road, Orient, for marijuana and drug paraphernalia after deputies responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle in the area.

– A resident in the 13700 block of Era Road, Mt. Sterling, reported telephone harassment. The subject was advised to stop calling the victim.

– A resident in the 13700 block of Era Road reported a 14-year-old male threw a brick through the windshield of her vehicle. A report was taken on criminal damaging.

– Deputies responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 900 block of South Pickaway Street, Circleville.

– Deputies responded to a complaint on a juvenile on U.S. Route 23 North.

– Deputies responded to an activated alarm in the 12000 block of Matville Road, Orient.

– Margaret Speakman, 51, of Circleville, was cited for failure to control and leaving the scene of an accident when her vehicle ran off the road and struck a guardrail on Island Road.

– Eugene Hill, 72, of Circleville, advised he was exiting a parking lot on Tarlton Road when he was struck by a vehicle driven by Brian Shoemaker, 51, of Kingston. No injuries were reported.

– James Boulger, 66, of Chillicothe, advised he was traveling southbound on state Route 104 when a deer ran in front of his vehicle and was struck. No injuries were reported.

– Cory R. Brent was arrested for violation of probation for original charge of disorderly conduct.

– Phillip G. Peters was arrested for the original charge of non-support of dependents.

February 7

– A deputy advised a truck was stuck in the mud on the railroad access lane on Hagerty Road. The driver was served a summons to appear in court for criminal trespassing.

– A resident in the 11600 block of Thrailkill Road, Orient, reported his boat and tractor batteries had been stolen. A report was taken on theft.

– Mason R. Hamilton, 18, of Ashville, was arrested for criminal damaging after a resident in the 13400 block of Hoover Road, Ashville, reported a mailbox and two trash cans had been damaged.

– A property owner in the 12300 block of Clarksburg Pike, New Holland, reported items were taken from a rental property. A report was taken on theft.

– A deputy responded to reports of harassment in the 13000 block of Tarlton Road, Amanda.

– A deputy responded to a complaint on property in the 7000 block of state Route 56 East, Circleville.

– Deputies responded to a complaint on a person in the 4800 block of Duvall Road, Ashville.

– Deputies responded to a domestic dispute in the 100 block of Oak Manor, Ashville.

February 8

– A resident in the 22800 block of Smith Hulse Road reported someone gained access to the residence through the garage door. A report was taken on burglary.

– A resident in the 24000 block of state Route 104 reported she arrived home to find the back door open. A report was taken on burglary.

– Deputies responded to reports of a reckless driver on U.S. Route 23 South.

– Deputies responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 8000 block of Iroquois Way, Orient.

– Deputies performed special detail in the 13000 block of Tarlton Road, Circleville.

– Deputies took a report on found property at 600 Island Road, Circleville.

– Deputies performed special detail in the 13000 block of London Road, Orient.

– Joshua Brown, 18, of Blacklick, advised he was traveling eastbound on St. Paul Road when he ran off the side of the roadway, striking a mailbox. No injuries were reported.

– Howard Neekcamp, 52, of Wellston, was cited for failure to yield when he drove through an intersection on U.S. Route 23, striking a vehicle driven by Alisha Smith, 18, of Frankfort. Subjects were treated for injuries.

– Austin Miller, 24, of Circleville, advised he was traveling eastbound on U.S. Route 22 West when a westbound truck struck his driver’s side mirror and continued westbound. A report was taken on a hit-skip accident.

– Holly Roush, 42, of New Holland, advised she was traveling southbound on state Route 207 when she lost control of her vehicle and slid into a guardrail. No injuries were reported.

– Sean Webb, 30, of Circleville, advised he was traveling westbound on Stoutsville Pike and lost control of his vehicle, spinning around and driving through a yard. No injuries were reported.

– Jane Zimmerman, 18, of Circleville, advised she was traveling northbound on North Court Street and lost control of her vehicle, striking three mailboxes. No injuries were reported.

– Wayne H. Lanning was arrested on an indictment for illegal manufacture of drugs or cultivation of marijuana.

– Stacy L. Tackett was arrested on the original charges of theft and criminal trespass.
