Delilah Blankenship, born Feb. 26, 1934, in Inez, Kentucky, passed away Feb. 5, 2016, surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mont and Nancy (Carter) Cline; husbands, Loval Blankenship, Johnny Stepp and Elias Jude; daughter, Clara Sue; brothers, Bert, Conard and Junior; and sisters, Ruth and Carmen.
She is survived by her sons, Elias and Mark, and their families; daughters, Christine, Bertha, Brenda and Lisa, and their families; and many relatives whom she loved very much. Delilah had 22 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
In life she loved God and family. She enjoyed church, family gatherings, driving on road trips, gardening, baking and playing the card game Skip Bo; she was very competitive. In her later years, she was an Elder Companion and joined her family on Facebook. It was a way for her to stay connected to those she loved and she enjoyed their posts and pictures.
She will be greatly missed by all. Her legacy will be wanting all her family to love God above all else and to let her children know how very much she loved them.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016, at Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Obetz Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
