James E. Dingess, 69, of Kingston, died Feb. 3, 2016, at his residence.
He was born on July 3, 1946, in Cassie, West Virginia, the son of the late Noah and Polly (Blackburn) Dingess.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Freddy Dingess.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and owner/operator of Jim’s Body Shop.
He is survived by his significant other, Becky (Terry) Dingess; children, Cara Dingess Kiger, James L. Dingess, Kendra (Steven) Harmon, Jason (Kelly) Snyder, Kipper (Julie Cheadle) Snyder and Mikie (Sam) Wiget; grandchildren, Kayla Speakman, Tiffanie Harmon, Emily Snyder, Connor Wiget, Callena Wiget, Nate and Jasper Snyder, Haley and Lexi Elick, Tyler and Brennah Wiget, Nick and Aaron Kiger; and by his sister, Geneva Bell.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016, at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville. Cremation will follow.
