February 1
– An employee of Domino’s Pizza came to the police station to request an escort to make his bank deposit after finding two males hanging around the deposit area. The escort was completed.
– A resident in the 1000 block of North Court Street reported he lost his wallet on East Main Street. Information was obtained.
– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 100 block of East High Street. The scene checked OK.
– A caller reported a theft had occurred the day before at Rural King on U.S. Route 23. A report was taken.
– A caller reported a known subject was throwing things at him and his wife in the 700 block of South Court Street. A report was taken on criminal mischief.
– Officers took a report on recovered narcotics after responding to reports of a suspicious person in the area of Court and Main streets.
– A resident in the 100 block of Parklawn Drive reported her neighbor was threatening her. Both parties were advised.
– An employee at Sunoco on Main Street reported a female was standing outside and appeared to be under the influence. Officers made contact with the subject, who advised she was upset because her medication had been stolen. A report was taken.
– A resident in the 500 block of North Pickaway Street reported her windows were shot by a BB gun. A report was taken.
– A Stoutsville resident reported his vehicle had been struck in the parking lot at Berger Hospital, and the other driver left the scene. A report was taken on a property damage hit-skip.
– A caller reported chickens were running in the roadway in the area of Edwards Road. Officers were unable to locate.
– A caller reported someone had stolen an air compressor and two totes full of parts in the 1100 block of South Washington Street. A report was taken on theft.
– An anonymous caller reported a group of people were fighting and arguing in the area of Clinton Street and Half Avenue. Officers were unable to locate.
– Extra patrol was requested in the 400 block of Lancaster Pike after a caller reported a male tried to gain access to her back door and then her vehicle. Officers were unable to locate the subject.
– An employee of Berger Hospital reported a male subject was brought in by a medic and was getting violent with the staff. A second call advised the male walked out of the hospital in a gown, but they were able to bring him back inside. The scene checked OK.
– A resident in the 400 block of East Union Street reported a male subject was in the middle of the street with a baseball bat yelling toward a house. Officers advised all parties about disorderly conduct.
– A caller reported a vehicle drove past her in the 200 block of West Mound Street, and it appeared the passenger was trying to get out of the moving vehicle. Officers were delayed by a train, and they were unable to locate the vehicle.
– Extra patrol was requested in the 100 block of Caroline Court after a caller reported he was driving home from Columbus and received a call from his fiancee stating a male was screaming and beating on the doors of the residence. Officers were unable to locate the subject.
February 2
– Officers and the Circleville Fire Department responded to reports of an activated CO alarm at a residence in the 200 block of Sunset Drive. The fire department handled the scene.
– Extra patrol was requested in the 200 block of Town Street after a caller reported someone had been attempting to break into vehicles in the area.
– A caller reported finding a wallet and some mail at the corner of Canal and Mound streets. A report was taken on found property.
– An employee at the Savings Bank requested to speak with an officer regarding a theft. A report was taken.
– Officers performed a stand-by in the 700 block of Clinton Street while a subject retrieved his belongings from a residence.
– A resident in the 100 block of Caroline Court came to the police station to discuss his unruly 14-year-old son. The resident was advised to contact the school resource officer.
– An officer was flagged down in the area of Town and Crites Road by a city employee turning in a wallet. A report was taken on found property.
– Jason McNichols was arrested in Circleville Municipal Court after a caller in the 100 block of West High Street reported an ongoing domestic dispute.
– A resident in the 9700 block of Tarlton Road reported her estranged spouse had been overdrawing money from their bank account. The resident was advised it was a civil issue.
– A caller reported a vehicle southbound on South Pickaway Street from Corwin Street had two children inside who were not properly restrained. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
– Officers responded to a property damage accident in the 400 block of East Main Street.
– A complainant came to the police station to report he recovered several tools in Portsmouth that had previously been reported as stolen.
– Officers responded to a property damage accident at the Circleville Fire Station on North Court Street.
– A resident in the 500 block of East Ohio Street reported an ongoing problem with a neighbor. A report was taken.
– A caller reported three female toddlers unsupervised in the alley behind Pickaway-Ross on East Mound Street. Officers were unable to locate the juveniles.
– An employee at CashMax on East Main Street reported juveniles were skateboarding in the parking lot and in and out of traffic. The juveniles were advised.
– Anthony D. Brown of Hamilton was arrested for domestic violence in the 500 block of Maize Court.
– Officers responded to an activated alarm at Budget Host Inn on U.S. Route 23. The scene checked OK.
– A resident in the 300 block of Walnut Street reported finding a syringe at the rear of her residence. Officers located and disposed of the item.
– A caller in the 1200 block of South Pickaway Street reported finding two bicycles on the property. A report was taken on found property.
– A resident in the 100 block of Hayward Street reported someone was trying to break into her house. Officers determined everything checked OK, and the noise might have been caused by the wind.
– Officers performed a well-being check on a subject in the 100 block of West High Street. They were advised the subject no longer lived there.
– Officers performed a well-being check on a female subject in the 100 block of Morris Road after her son reported he was told by phone her vehicle was disabled. The officer on the scene advised the female was OK, and Fletcher’s was able to jumpstart the vehicle.
– A resident in the 400 block of Watt Street came to the police station to report a child custody issue.
– A passerby advised a yard was on fire in the area of South Pickaway and Logan streets. Officers were unable to locate any issues.
– A resident in the 100 block of East High Street reported his truck had been stolen. A report was taken.
– A caller reported a road rage incident on Lancaster Pike in which a male subject flashed a firearm and told her he would shoot her for cutting him off. Officers were unable to locate the subject.
– Tara A. Barrows was arrested at the Budget Host Inn on U.S. Route 23 after a caller reported a female breaking the door and cursing.
