James L. Hart, 81, of Circleville, passed away on Jan. 31, 2016, at Berger Health System, Circleville.
He was born Feb. 24, 1934, in Hocking County, to the late William and Iva Poling Hart.
James is survived by his wife, Faith Baker Hart.
He retired from General Electric, Circleville, in 1990 after 36 years of service. He is a member of the First Baptist Church, Jeffersonville.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Alan Hart; a brother, Lawrence Hart; three sisters, Garnet Pasco and Peggy and Alice Hart; brother-in-law, Aaron Baker; father-in-law, Harold Baker; and one grandson, Keith Hill.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, James (Linda) Hart of Circleville; two daughters, Cheryl (Bret) Hill of Circleville and Cathy Hale of Cincinnati; one sister, Nora Pasco of Vine Grove, Kentucky; three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; special friends, Marge Neff and Danny Rosser; sisters-in-law, Julie Stepter, Nadine (William) Dent and Tonya Logan; brothers-in-law, Roger Baker and Douglas (Heather) Baker; and mother-in-law, Barbara Baker.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 5, 2016, at First Baptist Church, Jeffersonville, with Pastor James Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Jeffersonville. Friends and family may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016, at Morrow Funeral Home, Jeffersonville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the National Kidney Foundation.
