Clara C. Combs, age 76, of Circleville, passed away peacefully Jan. 23, 2016, surrounded by her family.
She was born March 6, 1939, in Magoffin County, Kentucky, to Hager and Rouie (Mann) LeMaster.
She was a 1956 graduate of Jefferson High School in Midland, where she was a standout athlete and homecoming queen.
She was a sales associate at several local car dealerships and was a hard worker with a quick-witted sense of humor.
She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Combs; and brother, John LeMaster.
She is survived by her sons, Paul (Sheryl) Combs of Franklin, Tennessee, Gary (Jennifer) Combs and Mike Combs of Circleville; grandchildren, Jason (Kim) Combs, Jillian Combs, Kelcey Combs (John Hummell) and Jed Combs (Paige Evans); great-grandchildren, Carly and Cole Combs; brothers, Orville (Edith) LeMaster and Jim LeMaster; sister, Laura (Paul) Summers; sister in law, Mary LeMaster; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friends, Dottie Johnson and Rick Maiden.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016, at Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Dr. Doyne Wiggins officiating. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be at Forest Cemetery.
