Annabell L. (Ward) Hines, 94, was born April 24, 1921, to Woody and Mary (Beatty) Ward in Ashville.

She was preceded in death by husband, Elmer Q. Hines; sister and brothers, Esther (Emerson) Brown, Andrew (Donna) Ward and Charles (Annabelle) Ward.

She is survived by two sons, Elmer and Nolan; daughter-in-law, Mary Hines; three grandsons and wives, Brandon and Calla Hines, Andrew and Aubrey Hines and Christopher and Karrie Hines; four great-grandchildren, Blake, Brock, Avery and Asa; nieces and nephews, Darryl (Sherrie) Ward, Andrew (Pam) Ward, Joni (David) Ballard, Amy Ward, Tom Ward and Rob Ward; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

Annabell was a member of Zion United Methodist Church of Ashville. She was a bus driver for the Teays Valley School District for 12 years. She had spent many years working at the Ashville Heritage Society Museum helping to share the stories and history of her hometown. She derived enormous joy in her life baking angel food cakes to share with family and friends near and far.

There will be no viewing hours. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016, at Reber Hill Cemetery.
