Lance Christopher Bickel, age 52, of Bradenton, Florida, formerly of Circleville, quietly passed away on Nov. 30, 2015.
He was born on Jan. 6, 1963, to Jerry and Margot Bickel.
Lance was a graduate of Circleville High School. He enjoyed cooking, gardening and cheering on his favorite sports teams. He was formerly employed at SweetBay Supermarkets in Bradenton and Kroger in Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margot.
Lance is survived by his father, Jerry (Joyce) Bickel of Somerset; brother, Leif (Beth) Bickel of Circleville; niece, Dominique (Bickel) Ater; nephew, Nicholas Bickel; great-nephew, Ashton Ater; his Starling Family; longtime family friend, Michael Schirippa; many close and loving friends; and his dog, Carlos.
The family will receive friends for a celebration of his life from 6 to 9 p.m. Jan. 8, 2016, at Watt Street Tavern in Circleville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Lance’s name to your local animal shelter or rescue group.
