Melford “Mick” Hart, 79, of Laurelville, was born at home in Hocking County on March 8, 1936, and passed away Dec. 18, 2015, at his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Milford “Tall” and Dorothy (Betts) Hart; and by two sisters, Phyllis and Genevieve.
Mick is survived by his wife, Jessie ( Roe) Hart; two sons, Terry (Rose) Hart and Mike Hart both, of Laurelville; five brothers; two sisters; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many other family members.
He was a retiree of PPG and an avid motorcyclist. He is loved and will be missed by all.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015, at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville, with Pastor Jim Vandagriff officiating. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home in Laurelville.
