William Allen “Bill” Thomas, 96, of Stoutsville, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015.
He was born on Aug. 17, 1919, in Circleville, to Herbert and Jesse (Norris) Thomas.
He was a lifelong resident and hog farmer in Pickaway County, but recently resided in Crestview Nursing Home.
Bill is survived by his sons, Gary (Arlene) Thomas of Bremen and Mike (Margie) Thomas of Lancaster; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Geneva (Bidwell) Thomas; his parents, Herbert and Jesse Thomas; sisters, Velma Marshall and Louise Burke; and by brother, Clarence Robert Thomas.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015, at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with burial to follow in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
