Margaret Moon, age 92, of Grove City, passed away peacefully Nov. 22, 2015, at Mt. Carmel Hospital West with her children by her side.
She will be met in heaven by parents, Kinney Cooper and Rebecca (Cooper) Riggs; husband, Archie; three sisters, three brothers and their spouses; and son-in-law, Jeff Puls.
She is survived by sisters, Nellie Cook of West Union and Pat Powell of Point Pleasant, West Virginia; brother, Larry (Dotty) Cooper of Otway; children, Gary (Dianna) Moon and Donna Puls of Orient; grandchildren, Angela (Rick) Shaver of Holmes Beach, Florida, and Jan (Chad) Pratt of Grove City; and great-grandchildren, Vincent and Dylan Sawyer of Ellicott City, Maryland, and Katelyn and Gavin Gensler of Grove City.
She retired from South-Western City Schools after 28 years of service and enjoyed retirement working in her yard, clogging with Clog 4 U Cloggers, square dancing with Tracktown Shirts and Skirts and traveling to the Great Smoky Mountains. Most recently she enjoyed all of her new friends at Carriage Court Retirement Center, her home since 2013.
Friends may visit from 9 a.m. until the time of funeral at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 27, 2015, at The Spence-Miller Funeral Home, 2697 Columbus St., Grove City, with Pastor Dennis Mohler officiating. Interment will be in Concord Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grove City United Methodist Church, 2650 Columbus St., Grove City, OH 43123.
